"There’s Snow Other but You” 5×7 Linocut Art Print - Signed
This is a hand-printed art print on white 5-inch x 7-inch 120 gsm printmaking paper. It is created using an original design hand-carved from a rubber block. The color was added using colored pencil one print at a time. I sign each hand pulled print with my linocut signature block I carved.
The print is blank on the back and will fit into any 5×7 frame. It will come wrapped in a plastic cello bag for protection with a chipboard to ensure it does not bend.
Each print is hand printed and will have slight inconsistencies from print to print.
The Story Behind the Design: Not going to lie, this design was from me getting stood up by a custom order. I made it last year for someone who asked for a more detailed version of my “Love You Like Snow Other” design. I drew it out and carved it out before taking any payment (like a goofy goober) and got ghosted by the buyer when I sent the digital copy to them. I still wanted to share the design because I really love how it turned out. It still captured the essence of what the original print did, which was the idea of a cozy snowed in cabin where the world outside of it seems to not exist. A restful place to escape from the craziness life can bring.
