This hand drawn design of “A Silly Little Fall Goose” is a die-cut waterproof sticker. It measures 3.25 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide. For best durability, hand wash any items you place this sticker on (ex: water bottle) but the sticker is technically dishwasher safe.
The Story Behind the Art: I have a silliest of geese series that this is a part of. This whole series is inspired by the feeling you get when get to be a little silly and not take life too seriously. I love adding to this series because highlights the moments in life that make me smile, no matter the season of life. I hope the sticker makes you smile, too.
“A Rainy Daydream” 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle of Hand Illustrated Art
SIZE: When this puzzle is put together it is 20 in X 27 in.
PIECES: The 1000 pieces are irregularly cut (lots of different shaped pieces) and made of chipboard with a lightly glossed finish.
BONUS INSERT: The puzzle includes a frameable single-sided reference image of the design that measures 7.125" x 9.5"
BOX SIZE: The puzzle box size is 10×8×2
THE STORY BEHIND THE ART: The artwork and the reason I chose to put it on a puzzle go hand in hand. They both represent rest to me. I think rest is a vital part of life and without it we cannot truly thrive and will often become burnt out (like I definitely have many times). Puzzles became my anti-burnout hobby and I would schedule rest times where I could just sit and do a puzzle. It turned my brain off and helped me return to work recharged.
The design is inspired by my cat, Beans, who often will lay on top of my artwork (or anything I’m working on) for some attention. It’s always a good reminder to take a break. One of my favorite types of days are the ones where it’s raining outside, I am in my art studio, my pets are hanging out with me, and I’m just enjoying a hobby of mine. I wanted to pass that sentiment onto any other people who may enjoy puzzles or who may want to try a new hobby to avoid burnout.
PRODUCTION INFORMATION: This design was hand illustrated by me, but I truly don’t know the first thing about making a high quality puzzle, so I outsourced. Portland Puzzle Company was kind enough to manufacture these. They are a small business based out of Portland Oregon that values high quality, USA-based puzzle production. I absolutely love how they turned out and am so happy to present puzzles for the first time ever in my little art shop.
LIMITED SUPPLY: There are 25 of these and then there will be a long time until they are able to be restocked again (I’m talking months, maybe into next year). So make sure to snag one of these early if you’re interested!
"Always Will Bee” 5×7 Linocut Art Print - Signed
This is a hand-printed art print on white 5-inch x 7-inch 120 gsm printmaking paper. It is created using an original design hand-carved from a rubber block. The color was added using colored pencil one print at a time. I sign each hand pulled print with my linocut signature block I carved.
The print is blank on the back and will fit into any 5×7 frame. It will come wrapped in a plastic cello bag for protection with a chipboard to ensure it does not bend.
Each print is hand printed and will have slight inconsistencies from print to print.
The Story Behind the Design: This piece was inspired by my wedding where my husband and I had a sunflower and bee theme. Our wedding song was Forever and Ever, Amen and one of my favorite lines in the song is "This love that I feel for you always will be," which inspired the name of the piece.
